Camping Adventures

We purchased our first Coleman popup camper in 1999. Since then we've traveled and camped in many different places in several different states and have made lots of friends along the way! We like the popup camper because of the "open" feel that comes from the large screen windows that make up the sides of the camper. You still get many of the conveniences of home combined with the fun of camping.

Here's a shot of 1/2 of our group at the last Ohio -
Great Lakes Popup Club outing held at Mohican Wilderness.

One of our favorite campsites....The Indian Boundary Campground in the Cherokee National Forest, Tennessee (just south of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park).

Here's Steven kicking back in the camper at Indian Boundary.
During our trip there last September, Mother Nature decided to
unload 2-3 inches of rain Friday evening.

A loud thunderstorm up in the Smoky Mountains is quite an experience!

Rich & Steven will be taking a 10 day, 1500 mile camping trip this summer! Our first stop will be at the Killbear Provincial Park on the eastern shore of Georgian Bay. We'll then head north to Grundy Lake PP for three days before moving farther north for a stay on Lake Nipissing.

While we're up at Nipissing we hope to visit the cabin our family owned way back in the early 1960's. We sold the cabin and island back in '65 and after many years this will be our first trip back!

On the way home we plan to spend a couple days at Niagra Falls. Should be a great trip!
